For APT Solutions

AP Technologies are proud to become UK distributor for LumeDEL LLC's range of fibre-coupled LED instruments.

Fibre-coupled LED light sources have in recent years enabled significant advances in both life sciences and industrial research. Potentially displacing traditional solutions, the use of fibre-coupled LED-based systems has led to notable progress in fields such as microfabrication, spectroscopy, molecular biology, crystallography, materials science and structural biology. Furthermore, they have permitted the development of tools for drug discovery and development, advanced medical diagnostics and enabled new imaging techniques.

With the growing demand for high-performance LED light sources among life sciences, medical, scientific, and industrial customers, New Hampshire based LumeDEL was started when its founders recognised that customers were often unable to find or develop LED devices they needed for their applications.

X3312LumeDEL’s NewDEL™ line of fibre-coupled LEDs offer a combination of energy efficiency, long lifespan, integrated functionality and control, high colour rendering index (CRI) (for broadband models). They are suited to a wide variety of applications.

The LED instruments are equipped with an integrated driver and microcontroller circuitry, making them ready to deploy out of the box. Users have comprehensive control over a wide selection of parameters, including delays, triggers, pulse durations, PWM frequency, and duty cycle. For those proficient in programming, the instruments can also be customised using distinctive serial commands.

The NewDEL family currently comprises twenty standard models, offering a versatile selection of narrowband sources spanning the ultraviolet (UVC, 275nm) to near-infrared (940nm) spectral range, along with broadband sources (330-1100nm) for broader spectral range requirements.

To cater to your specific needs, additional wavelengths can be supplied on request.

Key Features
  • High Power: NewDEL instruments offer excellent brightness and precision from 275nm to 1100nm.
  • Unmatched ease of use: An integrated Windows-based GUI offers programmability whilst an integrated memory chip, together with a driver/controller provide ensure ease of operation, enabling focus on research and applications
  • Pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming offers a number of advantages including precision brightness control and integration with GUI-based control.
  • Remote control: NewDEL products allows remote control options through serial commands, facilitating integration into various programmable systems.
