APT is pleased to announce the international release of a new surface mount photodiode with integrated daylight filter from Opto Diode Corporation.
The compact (4.4 x 3.9mm) surface mount package allows easy and convenient integration into new designs or existing systems and is rated for operation at -25°C to +85°C and for storage from -40°C to +85°C for added convenience.
The ODD-900-001 is an 8mm² silicon photodiode with high sensitivity, short switching time of 50ns (rise & fall) and the low capacitance - making it ideal for use in a variety of industrial and automotive photoelectric control applications as well as scientific and medical instrumentation.
The device operates in the spectral bandwidth from 730nm to 1100nm with typical peak responsivity of 0.44A/W at 940nm; typical reverse dark current of 5nA and total capacitance of 25pF.
The new ODD-900-001 photodiode’s power dissipation is 150mW at (or below) 25°C (free air temperature) and has a soldering temperature of 260°C (5 seconds, maximum).
Opto Diode’s new surface mount photodiodes are available now with a minimum order quantity of 1000.
