AP Technologies is pleased to announce that QD Laser have added to their range of butterfly-packaged Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser diodes with the release of a 1030nm version rated at 30mW CW.
The new version is ideally suited for use as a seed source in fibre lasers and can be directly modulated with pulses of the order of a few nanoseconds and when operated in gain-switched mode can be used to produce 50ps pulses.
